Forestry Faculty

Welcome to the site of Forestry Faculty of Warsaw University of Life Sciences, the oldest Polish academic unit for foresters. As a structural unit of SGGW (Warsaw University of Life Sciences in Warsaw), the Faculty was established in 1919, with its history dating back to 1816 when Special Forestry School was founded. There are almost 100 academic teachers, including 90 performing both research studies and didactics. The total number of students is about two thousands.
Forestry Faculty offers studies on several levels:
In Forestry:
- stationary 3,5-year-studies and non-stationary 4-year-studies on Bachelor of Science level
- stationary 1,5-year-studies and non-stationary 2-year-studies on Master of Science level
- stationary and non-stationary 2-year-studies in specialisation of "Forest Information Technology" (FIT) tought in English in cooperation with Eberswalde University for Sustainable Development
In Spatial Economics:
- stationary 3,5-year-studies and non-stationary 4-year-studies (Engineer degree),
- stationary 1,5-year-studies and non-stationary 2-year-studies (Master of Science degree) ,
